Title: Centre Manager (Part-time position)

Salary: £26,000 (depending on experience) to be reviewed

Job type: 25 hours per week. One-year fixed term contract (with a view to a permanent position).

Location: Vauxhall, London

The Bolney Meadow Community Centre was opened in 2011. It consists of a large attractive hall, meeting rooms, lobby and a kitchen all on one level and is fully accessible. The centre is situated in the Bolney Meadow housing estate and delivers events and activities that benefit the local and wider community. Our income is generated from hire of the venue and we have an annual grant from the owner, Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) housing trust. Complemented by income from fundraising, this is utilised to develop activities and improve the Centre. The Centre is managed independently by the Bolney Meadow Community Centre Community Interest Company (CIC) through our small resident management committee in agreement with NHG.

Our current activities include Kumon education and summer camps for children, keep fit classes for the elderly, Taekwondo and dance classes as well as a small youth music room. Our current long-term manager will be leaving shortly and we are now looking to appoint to a one year (part-time) fixed contract with a view to a permanent position.
